Nav Sensor Recorder App Privacy policy
Nav Sensor Recorder (further the Application) reads measurements of user device's sensors and takes images using a user device's camera in order to store the measurements and the images in the user device's memory.
The Application saves the data in order to allow users to process this data in their research, development, and engineering activities. The Application saves the data locally on the device and does not send the collected data to the Authors or to any other third party. The Application does not access internet.
The Application reads and saves measurements of the following sensors:
- Accelerometer
- Gyroscope
- Magnetometer
- Light sensor
- Temperature sensor
- Barometer
- Location
- GNSS raw data
Location data is saved locally in the user's device. The Application does not share the location information with the Authors or third parties.
The Application takes images using device's camera and saves them on the device. The application does not share saved images with the Authors or any other third parties.
Required permissions
Nav Sensor Recorder requires the following permissions:
Location
- precise location (GPS and network-based)
Required in order to access position information from the device's GNSS receiver and to save it locally on the user's device.
Photos/Media/Files
- read the contents of your USB storage
- modify or delete the contents of your USB storage
Required in order to save collected measurements into a file.
Storage
- read the contents of your USB storage
- modify or delete the contents of your USB storage
Required in order to save collected measurements into a file.
Other
- prevent device from sleeping
Required in order to prevent inernal sensors (IMU, magnetometer, etc.) from going into sleep mode.
Camera
Required for collecting images and saving them locally on user's device.
